No Data from iOS App Directly:

  • We do not collect personal data from the iOS app itself. The iOS client only acts as a remote control and does not transmit personal information.
  • All personal data collection occurs via the Mac companion app (e.g. user account creation, license checks), or through our website.

User Account Data (Mac/Website):

  • Email address, a hashed password, and licensing data (e.g. seat usage).
  • If you opt into marketing emails, we store your consent and communication preferences.

Usage Data:

  • Basic technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, app version details, and device seat UUID to manage license seats and improve service (collected through the Mac companion or our servers, not the iOS app).

Contact & Support:

  • If you contact us via email or support form, we collect the information you provide (e.g. name, email, message content).

3. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing

Providing Our Service: We store and process your data to create and maintain user accounts, verify license seats, and enable app functionality (GDPR legal basis: Performance of a Contract).

Marketing & Communications: We may use your contact information to send you technical updates, newsletters, or promotional materials—only if you have given explicit consent or if it is otherwise permitted by law (GDPR legal basis: Consent or Legitimate Interests). You can opt out at any time.

Ad-Supported Revenue: We may display advertisements on our website or in the companion app to support our platform financially. Where applicable, we will seek your consent for any tracking or profiling cookies used for ads (GDPR legal basis: Consent).

4. Sharing and Disclosure

No Selling of Personal Data: We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Service Providers / Ad Networks: We may share minimal usage data with third-party ad networks or service providers (e.g., hosting, email, analytics) solely to deliver or improve our services, and always under data processing agreements.

Participation in the PSDreamote Beta Program is voluntary and provided "as-is." Beta versions of our software may contain bugs, unfinished features, or other limitations. This diagnostic data will only be used internally by our team and not shared with third parties beyond necessary service providers under GDPR-compliant agreements.
